A fire is one of the most stressful things that can happen to a homeowner. The damage can be overwhelming, leaving you wondering where to even begin. Lewis Construction handles every aspect of the job from start to satisfaction.

Even when the fire is out, the damage continues. Much of the material found in furniture and flooring is synthetic and when burned, it can create a variety of complex chemical reactions. After only a few days, these items go from cleanable to
unsalvageable.

At Lewis Construction, we know that time is critical. That’s why we respond within 90 minutes of your call, day or night, and come prepared with the right equipment and knowledge to get the job done right. We use the latest equipment and supplies in our five-step fire and smoke restoration process:

  1. Emergency pre-cleaning
  2. Content cleaning
  3. Content pack-out
  4. Wall and ceiling cleaning
  5. Deodorization

Once crews arrive, the emergency cleaning and steps to mitigate damage are performed. This includes such things as changing furnace filters and getting the furnace operational quickly to start air flow throughout the house. Water extraction is performed, to clean up water left by the fire department. Contents are then packed into carefully labelled boxes and cleaned and stored at our secure climate controlled warehouse.
After the mitigation work is performed, and all surfaces are cleaned, reconstruction can begin. Lewis Construction will work with you every step of the way to ensure that your needs are met. We also work with your insurance company to provide you with different options for reconstruction. Leave everything to us!
